I’m very close to finishing up the first, official, jamesnotjim track. It’s a song called “Ocean” that has been around, in one form or another, since 2003. But this recording is from scratch and the process of recording it has given me a chance to expand the composition. You’ll see it here very soon.

I set up my studio last night for the first time since the move. I recorded this sound check last night to make sure everything was working and uploaded it to myspace to check out their service (though I’ll be hosting everything here at jamesnotjim.com).
